Positive Youth Develpoment Commitment
West Virginia is one of only two states to receive funding from the Public Education Network for statewide positive youth development work. Through partnerships with government, nonprofits, business and communities, we commit to working together to ensure that all children have the supports they need.
We believe our youth can thrive, realize their dreams and become successful adults. In order to ensure a bright future for every West Virginia child, we must engage and incorporate existing resources across all organizations that serve our young people.
The Positive Youth Development committee has a vision that all youth will have the support they need to become a caring, healthy, productive, and engaged adult.
